I didn’t get into politics for headlines or titles. I stepped up because I believe rural Minnesota deserves leaders who understand our way of life and aren’t afraid to stand up to government overreach.

I served for ten years in the Minnesota House of Representatives, and in 2022, I was honored to earn the trust of voters to serve in the Minnesota Senate. Every day, my focus is simple: represent my district honestly, fight for conservative values, and protect the future for our kids and grandkids.

During this past legislative term, I fought to hold state government accountable and put northern Minnesota families first. I stood up against waste, fraud, and unchecked government spending that has contributed to looming budget deficits, pushing for stronger oversight and transparency so taxpayers know where their money is going. I opposed budgets that cut funding for nursing homes and long-term care facilities while prioritizing new government programs, and I worked to protect seniors and vulnerable Minnesotans who depend on reliable local care. I also pushed back against higher fees and growing bureaucracy in environmental legislation, advocating for responsible DNR spending and common-sense permitting reforms that support jobs while protecting our natural resources. In every debate, my focus was simple: fight for fiscal responsibility, protect our communities, and make sure rural Minnesota has a strong voice in St. Paul.

There is still much to do to and I ask for your vote to continue to serve District 2 as your State Senator.
